A lot of butchers will attempt to sell you on the superiority of their wares by bragging that their animals are grain-fed. And that’s certainly one method of organic farming. But there other kinds of organic matter you could feed hogs that will yield pork that’s equally tender and flavorful. (This alternative feed is, coincidentally, also a key ingredient in various soylent products.)
