In today’s crowded marketplace, we’re constantly being barraged with marketing campaigns for brands and products. With large companies behind them, product managers can commission expensive promotional vehicles and enlist celebrity endorsements, and your awareness of the products’ usefulness is imprinted on your brain.
You know what doesn’t have big marketing bucks behind it? Fire.
And it’s a shame, because fire is so often overlooked as a tool and a social good. When’s the last time you cooked with fire? Used fire as a light source? Forged metal with fire? Set a massive fire to raze your enemies’ holdings? Actually, don’t answer that last one.
We understand that you have plenty of options at your disposal when it comes to your day-to-day tasks, and that fire won’t be right for all of them. But maybe the next time you’re away from electricity and in an open, well-ventilated area, you’ll at least consider using fire. For…whatever. That part’s none of our business.
