No matter how many years it’s been since we left school, we should never stop learning — but some lessons are tougher than others. It’s one thing to take on new information by means of a compelling magazine article or insightful PBS documentary. It’s another to get told a series of important facts at a very rapid speed and oppressive volume; but on the other hand, those might tend to be the lessons you retain the best, and let you say you’ve really been educated — to a T.
