It’s easy to take for granted that a seemingly mild-mannered friend or acquaintance will forever maintain that even keel. But you never know what could happen to shake that sort of composure, and boy, God help you when that placid surface cracks and you end up on the receiving end of a mellow person’s wrath. By the time he’s finished venting his spleen, you’ll have been well and truly lambasted… or thereabouts.
