Normally, a crowd can offer one of two reactions to any announcement: “Yay!” or “Boo!” The meaning of each is pretty clear: happiness, or disappointment (respectively). But can’t there be some middle ground? What about those occasions when you’re not quite happy, nor entirely disappointed? People might think they heard you saying “Boo,” but really, you’d be saying “Boo-urns.”
